Quiet and off the main street
1st nite no hot water. fixed promptly

the owners were very nice and attended to our hot water problem right away.the beds were wrapped in plastic and I found myself sweating during the night.the room cleaner banged loudly on our door and informed us we have 8 minutes to leave the room. It was 8 minutes to check out. I told the owners how nice they were seemed to be erased by the ruddness of the room cleaner. ...read more

It appeared cozy at first glance.
Ants.

I arranged for this room over the phone using the number. We did not have the bid option with that approach. We were grateful to be able to reserve a room on the same day. The problem was ants. The following morning our pizza leftovers were under assault by ants. That was ugh! ...read more

It was close to multiple restaurants.
Lack of hot water. Wireless was down most of one night.

Overall this hotel was poor. While a continental breakfast was advertised starting at 07:30, when I went to get something for breakfast the area was locked and no staff was available. I had to buy breakfast off site. There are water stains on the bathroom ceiling. The hot water had to be run for 10 minutes or so prior to getting into the shower. The wireless internet access went down for approximately 5 hours on Saturday night. ...read more

Near farmland! Beautiful & scenic location! Provided Catholic Network
Poor housekeeping. One bed's linen was soiled!
Floor needed vacuuming.

Overall, my stay was satisfactory because of the nice management. And, because the price is good! and their cable TV has the Catholic Network: EWTN which I greatly enjoy!! Also, the breakfast provided was probably adequate, but I prefer only coffee in the mornings, so I brought my own pot and coffee supplies since this hotel doesn't provide these in the rooms. Again, my overall visit was satisfactory and I anticipate reserving a room there for future visits! God bless one and all! ...read more

Water in the shower was nice.
Grungy, old, noisy with people hanging around outside all night long all over the parking lot.

The part of the hotel we stayed in (maybe all of it) was very old and dirty-feeling. We didn't care to go barefoot inside. The crowds drinking in the parking lot all night long kept us awake and afraid. ...read more

AC unit worked great.
AC unit soaked large spot on carpet.

Very clean bed & carpet, no dust, nice TV, good wireless Internet, room felt safe & secure.
AC unit worked great but soaked carpet near bath, grout in shower needs better cleaning (moldy), not enough large towels for 2 adults, breakfast donuts kinda hard, coffee weak, and OJ machine didn't work. Exterior could use some work like painting, cleaning, more plants. All in all - You get what you pay for. ...read more

Leaving.
Old, odorous, outdated, in disrepair, disgusting, no deal here!

When we found the place it was the Econo Lodge. My party was forced to pay upfront? Accommodations were inadequate and two in my party had to book another room. Room 1 - carpet old. Bathroom door did not close due to swelling? TV was big and had remote. Main door jamb was tampered and splintered. Bathroom was mildewed. Toilet flush suction almost swallowed my son. Shower pressure knocked you against back wall (I liked; roommate didn't). Shower drain made loud suction noise that was heard next door. Room 2 - same as Room 1 plus light in bathroom flickered continuously. Double beds (not queen as reserved) were uncomfortable. Continental breakfast - only granola bars and sliced bread available during stated hours of operation? Econo Lodge = The Bates Motel. The pool looked inviting but wasn't open. Meanwhile, other members of my party stayed at the Hampton Inn and couldn't stop raving! ...read more

I would remove them from your list.
Cleanliness, security and privacy.

I would never stay at this motel again or have my high school athletic team¿s stay here again.
